AVATAR Anthology (Avatar 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.) - Part 2/3

Currently the most fearsome bird in all of Asia, even more feared than the F-22 Raptor, the Chengdu J-20 "Dragon Fighter":

J-20 "Dragon Fighter" (yellow = unpainted):

Artist's concept of J-20 (unofficial/fan-made) from way back in 2006:

Happy New Year 2017!!

James Cameron has got the power in his hand -- fireworks power: A "cirque du soleil" in the sky. Happy New Year 2017!!

(P.S: BirdNest with fireworks above.)

Top reasons why the J-20 is currently the most feared bird in all of Asia

(aka Contrasting differences between the F-22 Raptor and J-20 "Dragon Fighter"):

1A. The J-20 has the same wing span as the F-22, but is longer. This means that the J-20 can carry more fuel internally to fly farther  (12 tons of fuel for J-20 vs 9 tons for F-22, which is about 33% more capacity):

1B. Both the J-20 and F-22 are huge birds. In fact, the J-20 is enormous compared to the J-10 multi-role fighter aircraft:

EDIT: I'm discontinuing this topic since most of the contents were obtained from a military fanatics forum, and I might inadvertently be disclosing military secrets...

Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) model [bottom-left] of the J-20:

Spirit of the Dragon -- J-20 "Dragon Fighter":

J-20 "Milka-camo":

J-20 Black Eagle:

J-20's yellow smoke:
"Yellow smoke is from high levels of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust; these are formed by high-temperature combustion. Lots of modern military engines will produce yellow smoke at high-dry/low-afterburner settings."
